The north of Scotland is a paradise for fishermen, with the hotel providing the perfect base for a fishing holiday. Take on the challenge of catching one of Sutherland’s famous wild, fighting brown trout or fish for sea trout on the beautiful Kyle of Tongue.
Tongue and District Angling Club is responsible for issuing the permits for fishing in the area. Daily, weekly and yearly permits can be purchased at The Tongue Hotel and are amongst the cheapest in the country.
The Angling Club also has boats on Lochs Loyal and Loch Craggie for hire by the day or week. Outboard motors can be hired from the angling club.
